This is a natural color so it does not fade with washing. This Texas Grown Alpaca comes my herd at Calico Creek Ranch. It is a blend of all my fawn and white alpacas. It is a beautiful squishy yarn. It is a worsted weight yarn with 220 yards per skein.
Texas Grown Alpaca yarn is soft and luxurious. Alpaca drapes beautifully. This yarn is next to the skin soft and a joy to work with.
Your finished products should be hand washed in cool to lukewarm water (never hot water) with your favorite fiber wash without agitation to avoid felting. Then laid flat to dry. I would recommend blocking when necessary.
